Description
RDR2 Enhanced “Color Icons” mod is a visual UI overhaul that replaces the original black-and-white icon set from RDR2 with high-quality, colorized and upscaled versions.
The goal of this mod is to, as best as I could, preserve Rockstar’s original icon designs while improving clarity, readability and aesthetic appeal. Each icon has been carefully processed and enhanced to maintain the authentic style of the game while making icons easier to distinguish at a glance. Whether you’re browsing menus, inventory items, or the weapon wheel, this mod gives the UI a cleaner and more modern look without straying too far from the original art direction.
Red Dead Redemption has so much beauty to the game, it’s a shame that all the icons are black and white … but no longer. I colorized most icons (not all, still working on some things) to give the game a little more life.
Personally I enjoy hoarding inventory items and wanted to see them in the same beauty as the rest of the game. Nearly all icons have been upscaled from 96×96 to 512×512, and weapon wheel icons from 256×128 to 1024×512.
