Grapple N’ Shoot v1.0
Simple mod that allows you to aim and shoot your gun when you’re grappling an enemy from behind. It is also possible to use throwing knives.
Installation
Install a RDR2 Script Hook. I recommend Script Hook V2.
Drag and drop Grapple N’ Shoot.asi and Grapple N’ Shoot.ini to Red Dead Redemption 2 folder.
You can combine this mod with Take NPC’s Hostage (Rewritten), Enhanced Brawling or Grapple Position Switcher.
How to use
Grapple someone from behind with a one handed weapon and press right click to aim and shoot.
Config file
AimingAndMovement=0 ; (This enables aiming and moving. It doesn’t enable regular grapple movement. It is disabled by default since enabling it makes the Arthur stand sideways as his aiming animation is like that.)
EnableBackGrappleMovement=0 ; (This enables moving while just grappling and not aiming)
Imperfections
– Starting and stopping aiming transitions is not perfect and might look rough some times.
– Making sudden and really fast aiming movements can cause issues.
– If you take a cop hostage cops won’t be able to land their shoots on them.
