Catalogue Improvements v1.0

This mod aims to improve the player customization experience by adding variety to the wardrobe and reducing clipping on a lot of clothing items, while also improving John Marston’s appearance by restoring most of his beta assets and porting over his Chapter 1-6 outfits.

This mod brings fixes and improvements to a considerable amount of clothing items for the player by reducing clipping, making clothes more reactive and adding a bit of variety to the wardrobe, even bringing new items into the catalogue for players to purchase.

The Navy Revolver can also be purchased from any gunsmith in the game, along with two additional metals that can be used to customize any of your weapons.

Shirts, Suspenders and Off-Hand Holsters can now be removed through the wardrobe, the latter now being able to dynamically push satchels away to avoid clipping.

A lot of emphasis has been put into John Marston’s appearance with the hopes of making him look less like a Arthur Morgan clone and more like himself. Most of his unused/beta assets have been restored, this includes his head models, opened vests and equipment, as well as new hair models that were made/edited to fit John’s unique head model.

We also made sure said opened vests are compatible with every shirt.

Certain cutscenes in Epilogue 1 are either fixed or overhauled in this mod, fixing the blurry scene at the end of Motherhood and giving John his actual weapons during Jim Milton Rides, Again?

Most of his outfits from Chapters 1-6 have been added to the wardrobe, as well as some unique outfits for Arthur inspired by

Brand new Outfits
Speaking of unused content, we’ve also restored a few stolen hats that were unintentionally cut from the game. We say “unintentionally” because most of these hats can already be seen on peds, the only reason they couldn’t be saved was because their textures/materials differed slightly from those in the wardrobe, which is no longer the case in this mod.

We’ve also added a couple of extra collectable hats and fixed a couple of things regarding Found Hats.

The Morion Helmet no longer removes your hair and can now be interacted with during certain animations.

We would also like to mention that previously static hats are now properly animated, with their own little weight values depending on the material and size of their brims.

Now let’s quickly talk about food. In vanilla, when you eat any cooked meats, Arthur/John will play a quick animation of them eating an imaginary chunk of food, which is the same animation that’s used when you eat any piece of candy.

This wasn’t the case in the 1.00 version of the game, as cooked meats were visibly chomped away by Arthur/John in a slightly longer eating animation. This mod, of course, restores said animation.

To add onto our list of niche fixes, there’s a very rare but very consistent glitch that grants the bandolier exceptional abilities to bend time and space, causing it to expand upwards into your skull anytime you wear a combination of Chaps, Bandanas, Mountain Hats and The Winter Shotgun Coat.

The reason why this happens is because each one of the beforementioned clothing items have their own skeleton with their own little bones, combining all of them + bandoliers causes the game to reach some sort of limit that forces a ped to delete bones, which is exactly what’s causing the bandolier to turn deviant. Needless to say, this mod fixes it.

Horses have also received a slight overhaul. Owned horses now wear horseshoes, and the cut rifle holster on saddles has been restored.

We could go on and on about the changes we made in this mod, but we don’t want to make the description any longer than it already is, so we’re gonna leave it here. We’ve already shown you the most important features, so all we ask is that you enjoy the mod and have a great time!

Installation
Make sure you have “ScriptHookRDR2” and “Lenny’s Mod Loader“ already installed beforehand.
You can use “ScriptHookRDR2 V2” if you’re having problems with the first one.

If you already have the requirements above, then simply drag the “.asi” files and “lml” folder directly into your game’s directory and you should be done.
